I lead it, start to finish
When a project needs another skill, someone on the team already has it.
Every order on this site gets real attention, not handed off to a junior you will never talk to or a faceless account team billing for meetings. I lead the strategy on every project, backed by a small team when the work calls for it.
I own every project and write every word myself. Realistically that's 85-90% of the work. This is who backs me up on the rest.
I'm Marc St. John. I create content out of Columbus, Ohio. Before any of this, I taught English. I wrote lessons every day, graded the results, and told students exactly what worked and what didn't. That's the same job as marketing: write something, measure what it does, say plainly what needs to change. The subject changed. The job didn't.
I got my start in 2011, writing blog content for a resort business, teaching myself SEO from a book as I went. In 2018, that turned into freelance web development: building sites and running local marketing for small businesses. That's where I began learning how to sell online.
Since October 2021, I've played a key role in the entire marketing system for a specialty ecommerce retailer: SEO, email, Meta ads, content, and conversion, all at once. The business has grown more than 1,000% since I started. Average order value grew 53% over the same stretch. Meta ad spend scaled 7x and stayed profitable. Organic keywords reached 43,000+ at one point.
Content Franchise offers that same work. Instead of a retainer and a proposal, it's a catalog with the price already on it. You are not handed off to a rotating account team. You are working with the person who already built one system that did all of it, and the small team that helps when needed.

Email, SEO, ads, and your site are built to feed each other. That only works when everyone is on the same page about the message and purpose.
Every proof point on this site is a real result from real work. Nothing here is invented to make a page read better.
I give you editorial judgment myself, in your voice. A team of people help me where I need it.
